birthday party

I just bought a new computer and I need to install some programs before I can process my photos, so I've been unable to really post. Also, it was my bday this week so I've been busy with all the parties! ha. In the meantime, let me show you something I got for my birthday. My friend Regena makes really nice jewelry that I've always wanted to own, and she surprised me with a locket necklace!!

I'm interested in playing with this 35mm twin lens reflex. Although, with all the new plastic toy cameras out lately, they should be less. I think they are hiking up these prices due to the trendiness of them, rather than functionality. They usually aren't precise on focusing because they are so light that they move while clicking and the lenses are plastic, rather than glass. It's nice though to have something less than a $600 - $8oo Mamiya to play with, although I would LOVe to play with the mamiya someday.
