also, i have a "before" photo of a project I'm working on. I'm fixing up this shelf for my jars. Hopefully it will look less country-home when I'm done.

there's a dream in my house.

i found this room on the Brick House. It's like being inside a dream. i'll take the wood chop table, and those pretty white floors (for one room at least). it's like being on a boat.

I am working on this garland right now for my house, but most likely with just white or old book pages.

it's much more difficult to write a poem that is happy in sentiment, than one which is tragic. at least a good one.

my new shell

it makes a perfect detail on top of my book pile. i saw these when we were in montezuma, costa rica. they had made all kinds of beautiful jewelry from this shell. but i still like it best in it's original, organic form. it's perfect!


p.s. i miss the water.
